| 1/2 | cup | vegetable shortening | |
| 1/2 | cup | honey | |
| 1/2 | cup | brown sugar | |
| 1 | each | egg | well-beaten |
| 1/2 | cup | peanut butter | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda |
Cream shortening, honey and sugar together till light and fluffy.
Add well-beaten egg.
Add peanut butter and salt. Stir in flour and soda sifted together and mix well.
Form into small balls of dough and place on greased cookie sheet.
Press with fork. Bake at 350F for 8 to 10 minutes.
