Oatmeal Praline Cake
1 1/4 cup boiling water
1 cup raw quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar - firmly packed
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
TOPPING
3 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup light brown sugar - firmly packed
3/4 cup coconut
1/2 cup, coarsely, chopped walnuts
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
1, In small bowl, pour boiling water over oats; with fork to mix well. Let stand 40 mins to cool.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 x 9 x x 2 inch baking pan.
3. Sift dry ingredients. Set aside.
4.In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat 1/2 cup butter until creamy.
5. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each, untill light and fluffy, add vanilla.
6, Add rolled oat mixture, mixing until well combined.
7. At low speed beat in the flour mixture until well combined.
8. Turn batter into prepared pan. Bake 50 mins or until top springs back when touched gently.
9.Meanwhile make Topping:
In a small bowl, combine all topping ingredients. Spread over hot cake.
10. Return cake to oven. Bake 10 mins longer or until topping is golden.
Makes 12 servings.

I like to have oatmeal as, it is very healthy simply beneficial for heart reduces cholesterol by absorbing it.
So, It is good that you are using it in several dishes so, that specially those people who are fat can eat this.
