recently widowered---My wife made a wonderful salad composed of lime jello, sour cream, crushed pineapple, walnuts, and maraschino cherries, but I don't know the proportions nor the preparation!! HELP Thanks much!!

Lime-cherry Jello Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lg. lime jello (or 2 sm.)
1 c. hot water
16 oz. can crushed pineapple
1/4 c. walnut meats (diced small)
8 oz. sour cream
1/2 c. maraschino cherries (diced small)
Cooking Directions:
Combine lime jello and hot water and stir completely until dissolved. Add crushed pineapple and stir. Add sour cream and stir. Add cherries and nuts and stir. Chill in refrigerator until gelled.

I will definitely try this salad at my place as, green and rusian salads are my favourite and also the salads with pastas and mayonnaise are so awesome and tasty that you simply love to eat it with out anything.
