20 minSeven distinct layers stacked on a platter, each one adding its own texture and flavor to every scoop.
You start with seasoned refried beans as the foundation, add a creamy sour cream and cream cheese layer, then build up through salsa, fresh veggies, cheese, and olives.
It’s the kind of dip that looks impressive but requires zero cooking, just strategic layering and a trip to the fridge.
Pro Tips
- Spread each layer to the edges to create distinct visual stripes when serving
- Use a large rimmed platter or 9×13 dish to give plenty of surface area for scooping
- Make the base layers (beans, cream cheese, salsa) ahead but add fresh toppings right before serving
- Serve with sturdy tortilla chips that can handle the weight of all seven layers
