Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 cup onion finely diced
1 cup applesauce
1 cup bread crumbs
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Lightly oil a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix well.

Place the meatloaf mixture in the prepared pan.

Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Let cool 10-15 minutes.

Turn the loaf out of the pan.

Slice and serve.

Reviews

Over all a good recipe. I only added 1 tsp. of salt. After it was done I think even less salt could have been used. I also added 1 tsp. of minced garlic.
