Ingredients

2 cups green tomatoes
2 cups apples chopped
1/2 cup raisins, seedless
1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 each pie shell (9 inch)

Directions

Mix all ingredients well and boil gently in medium saucepan for 25 minutes.

Cool.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Fill pie shell with cooled mixture.

Strip with more pie crust across top of pie.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
