| 1 | cup | milk | skim, with 1 tablespoon lemon juice |
| 1/4 | cup | vegetable oil | |
| 2 | each | egg whites | |
| 2 | teaspoons | brown sugar | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | whole wheat flour | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | bran | uncooked, unprocessed |
| 1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | nutmeg | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | cinnamon | |
| 1/4 | cup | baby food prunes | |
| 1 | cup | applesauce | |
| 1 | x | nuts | raisins as desired |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine milk oil, egg, sugar, prunes, and applesauce with fork in bowl.
Set aside.
Combine dry ingredients.
Add liquid ingredients to dry.
Stir just to moisten .
Grease 12 muffin cups or use paper cups.
Bake 25 minutes.
Let cook 5 minutes, and remove from pan.

After dinner is over with, it’s time for a nice period of relaxation. It could be called a nap, but not everyone sleeps right away....
have used this one for years..it is a family tradition at christmas..thanks for having it so handy...saved me lots of time in lookin it
