| 1 | x | orange | |
| 1 | x | lime | |
| 2 | x | plums | |
| 1 | x | red wine | light and fruity, such as Beaujolais or Bardolino |
| 1/4 | cup | sugar | |
| 6 | ounces | soda water | |
| 1 | x | ice | as needed |
Slice the fruit and then mash it on the bottom of a pitcher.
Add the wine and sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves.
Add the seltzer and ice cubes.
Use white wine if you prefer but again, something light and fruity.

Simple and easy, and the results are great. However, I had to double the recipe to satisfy the appetites of my family members and their appetites.
