Ingredients

3/4 cup raisins white
1/4 cup sweet bell peppers chopped
1 cup white vinegar
4 each pears cored, pared, chopped
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Combine all ingredients in large pan, bring to boil.

Reduce heat to medium, cook unitl pears are tender and mixture is slighty thick (about an hour).

Spoon into three clear 1/2 pint jares and seal inmediately.

Tuna Cakes with Dill Tartar Sauce

This recipe is easy, cheap, nutritious, and my four kids (age 1,2,4, and 5) all eat 2 or 3 of them each time I make it. The first time I made it, I had to double the recipe in a hurry because everyone ate so much. It's even good without sauce.
