| 3 1/2 | cups | onion | chopped, divided |
| 1 | cup | green bell pepper | chopped |
| 2 | each | garlic cloves | minced |
| 1 | pound | beef round steak | ground |
| 2 | teaspoons | cinnamon | ground |
| 2 | teaspoons | paprika | |
| 1 | teaspoon | chili powder | |
| 1 | teaspoon | cumin | ground |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | allspice | ground |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | marjoram | whole, dried |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | nutmeg | ground |
| 1 | each | cinnamon stick | |
| 3/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | black pepper | |
| 2 | cans | tomatoes | undrained, chopped |
| 4 1/2 | cups | spaghetti | cooked, hot |
| 3/4 | cup | cheddar cheese | reduced-fat, shredded |
| 36 | each | oyster crackers |
Coat a large Dutch oven with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot.
Add 2 cups onion and the next 3 ingredients; cook until meat is browned, stirring to crumble.
Add ground cinnamon and next 7 ingredients.
Cook 1 minute.
Add salt and pepper and tomatoes; simmer, uncovered 20 minutes.
To serve, arrange spaghetti on individual serving plates.
Spoon chili over spaghetti, top with cheese and remaining 1 1/2 cups onions.
Serve with crackers.

I am not a winter person. But I must admit, there's nothing like a hearty winter meal followed by a good brandy or...
This is an excellent recipe. My Cuban boyfriend loved it and said it reminded him of home. I did add a little bit more vinegar
