suggest servings
| 1 1/2 | pounds | beef, filet mignon | four 8 ounce steaks |
| 1 | x | salt | and freshly ground black pepper ,to taste |
| Pasilla chile bbq sauce | |||
| 1 1/2 | cup | new mexicostyle bbq sauce | |
| 2 | tablespoons | maple syrup | |
| 2 | tablespoons | pasilla chiles | powder |
| 1/4 | cup | cilantro | chopped |
Mix all ingredients well and marinate filets for 1 hour.
Prepare a wood or charcoal grill and let burn down to embers.
Remove filets from BBQ sauce and cook on grill for 4 minutes on each side for medium rare.
