Ingredients

1 each pie shell (9 inch) frozen
10 each caramels quartered
1/3 cup flour, all-purpose
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 cups apples jonathan, unpeeled, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
1/2 cup pecans chopped

Directions

In medium bowl, combine caramels and flour.

Add apples, caramel topping and lemon juice; mix well.

Pour mixture into crust; top with pecans.

Bake on preheated baking sheet at 375 for 40-45 minutes until crust has browned; cool.

An Absolutely Perfect Roast Goose!+

This method worked great. It turned out exactly according to the directions. One of the guests had only had goose decades before and it wasn't a pleasant experience. He raved about this one though, not full of fat, just lovely dark rich meat. It went very well with a homemade cranberry sauce I also made.
