| 1 1/2 | pounds | cod fillets | fresh or frozen |
| 1 | cup | water | boiling |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/2 | cup | bread crumbs | soft |
| 2 | tablespoons | parsley leaves | chopped |
| 1/2 | cup | salad dressing, mayonnaise style | |
| 1 | cup | egg | |
| 1 | tablespoon | prepared mustard | |
| 1 | tablespoon | lemon juice | |
| 1 | teaspoon | worcestershire sauce | |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | black pepper | |
| 1 | x | paprika | as desired |
Thaw frozen fish.
Preheat oven to 400 F (hot).
Grease baking sheet.
Add fish to boiling, salted water.
Cover and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and cook 4 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
Drain and flake.
Remove bones, if present.
Mix fix, breadcrumbs, and parsley.
Mix salad dressing (mayonnaise), egg, mustard, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, and pepper thoroughly.
Stir into fish mixture. Mix well.
Form into 12 patties about 3 inches in diameter and 3/4 inch thick on baking sheet.
Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

I am 50 years old and have never made divinity that you could eat(without a spoon). I used this recipe (used 2 egg whites instead of 1) and it turned out wonderful. I have now accomplished another battle in my life....
