| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 2 | tablespoons | sugar | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 | tablespoon | flour, all-purpose | |
| 4 | tablespoons | cornstarch | |
| 3 2/3 | cups | milk | whole |
| 6 | tablespoons | cocoa powder | |
| 2 | tablespoons | vegetable oil | |
| 2 | large | eggs | beaten |
| 2 | tablespoons | butter | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract |
Combine sugar, salt, flour, cornstarch, milk, cocoa and oil.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat.
Stir about half of chocolate mixture into eggs until completely blended.
Pour mixture back into saucepan and continue cooking, stirring constantly until mixture boils again.
Remove from heat and blend in butter and vanilla.
Pour into crust and chill.
