Ingredients

1 x beef roast
1 x onion
1 x spices
1 x potatoes carrots, turnips, optional

Directions

Brown the roast on all sides in a little bit of oil. Place in the crockpot. Add an onion, cut in about 6-8 pieces. Add spices (garlic, herbs, pepper). Cover with water. Set on High. Simmer for about 5 - 6 hours. Add potatoes (quartered), and other vegetables if desired the last 60-80 minutes.

Curried Potatoes And Peas (Aloo Matar Rasedaar)

It was very yummy but I think it would've been a lot better if i'd peeled them or used red potatoes. I also recommend using roma or vine ripened tomatoes instead of large tomatoes.
