| 1/4 | cup | margarine | softened |
| 1 | cup | brown sugar | packed |
| 1 | each | egg | |
| 1/2 | cup | oatmeal | |
| 1/2 | cup | apple butter | |
| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 2 | tablespoons | milk | |
| 1/2 | cup | nuts | chopped |
| 1/2 | cup | raisins, seedless |
In a mixing bowl, cream margarine (or butter) and sugar.
Beat in egg, oats, and apple butter.
Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture along with milk.
Beat until blended. Stir in nuts and raisins.
CHILL.
Drop by teaspoonsful onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
About 2 1/2 dozen cookies. You can freeze these for months.

These are truly a great sugar cookie. I had decorated them and everyone at the party that they were delicious.
