| 1 | pound | ground beef, lean | |
| 1 | x | salt and black pepper | to taste |
| 4 | cans | tomatoes | crushed |
| 4 | cans | pinto beans | |
| 1 | x | chili seasoning mix | |
| 1 | x | chili powder | to taste |
| 1 | x | jalapeno pepper juice | to taste |
| 1 | tablespoon | vinegar | up to 2 tablespoons |
Brown ground beef in large saucepan, stirring until crumbly; drain.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add tomatoes and beans. Cook over medium heat until bubbly.
Add chili seasoning, chili powder, and pepper juice.
Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
Stir in vinegar to bring out the flavor of the spices just before serving.

The other night at the restaurant where I work, the executive chef admonished one of the other chefs for not applying enough...
This turned out really good. I didn't make the horseradish sauce, but the ribs were so tender the meat just fell off the bone.
