glaze for 1 roast
suggest servings
| 1 | cup | apple cider | or juice |
| 1/2 | cup | brown sugar | |
| 3 | tablespoons | dijon mustard | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | cloves | ground |
Combine ingredients thoroughly.
Use to baste ham or pork roast as it cooks, brushing it on lavishly every 30 minutes or so.
Glaze will keep, tightly covered and refrigerated, for several weeks.

Here is a quick guide for help converting between Australian, British and US style measurements....
Tasty, classic Salisbury recipe with the added ingredient of rice (makes the patty more tenderer). Side note I did not notice until I was half way in the recipe that I needed "cooked" rice. I accidently made 1/2 raw rice which expanded to about 1 c. Make sure to only add 1/2 c. "cooked" rice. I will definitely make this recipe again.!
