| 4 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 2 | tablespoons | lard | yes, lard. shortening doesn't work as well |
| 1/2 | cup | milk | warm |
| 1 | tablespoon | baking powder | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt |
Mix all the dry ingredients and sift.
Mix in lard.
Add warm (not hot) milk gradually, knead til smooth.
Cut into pieces.
Roll out paper thin into round shape.
Cook on hot griddle until lightly browned and "spotted".

These are the best! I made these for my boyfriend and it became his new favorite meal. I can take a lot of time and money but is well worth it in the end. It is awesome!
