Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
5 pounds pork shoulder roast or fresh picnic, or other

Directions

In small bowl, mix all spices.

Rub on surface of 5 lb. pork roast.

Roast on rack in shallow pan to 185 F. on meat thermometer for 3 1/2-4 hours at 325 f.

Can make gravy from pan drippings.
