Leave the barbecue alone and turn on the oven for this scrumptious casserole made with succulent pork chops and savory potatoes.

Ingredients

1 package onion soup mix
3/4 cups water
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cups potatoes potaoes
2 medium onions
4 each apples cut into 1/2 inch rings
21 pounds pork chops thick cut

Directions

Combine soup mix , water, sugar and spices. Mix well in a shallow baking dish. Layer half potatoe, onion and apples, pour soup mix over top. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 375.
