| 2 1/2 | pounds | beef brisket | 1 inch cubes |
| 1 | pound | ground pork | lean |
| 1 | each | onion | large, finely chopped |
| 2 | tablespoons | wesson oil | |
| 1 | x | salt and black pepper | to taste |
| 3 | cloves | garlic | peeled and minced |
| 2 | tablespoons | green chili peppers | diced |
| 8 | ounces | tomato sauce | |
| 1 | each | beef bouillon cube | low sodium |
| 12 | ounces | beer | |
| 1 1/4 | cups | water | |
| 4-6 | tablespoons | chili powder | |
| 2 1/2 | tablespoons | cumin | ground |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | dry mustard | |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | brown sugar | |
| 1 | pinch | oregano |
In a large kettle or Dutch oven, brown the beef, pork and onions in hot Wesson oil.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add remaining ingredients. Stir well.
Cover and simmer 3 to 4 hours, until meat is tender and chili is thick and bubbly.
Stir occasionally.
