| 1/2 | cup | margarine | softened |
| 1/2 | cup | brown sugar | packed |
| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | tablespoon | orange juice | |
| 1 | teaspoon | orange zest | grated |
| 1 | package | dates | chopped, pitted |
| 1/2 | cup | almonds | toasted, chopped |
Beat margarine and sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy.
Gradually beat in flour until blended.
Beat in orange juice and peel, then dates and almonds.
Form dough into ball.
Place on greased 14 inch pizza pan.
Pat to 12 inch cookie.
Bake in 375 degrees F oven 15 minutes.
Cool completely.
Cut into 14-16 wedges to serve.
