| 1 | tablespoon | vegetable oil | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vegetable oil | |
| 1/2 | cup | onions | chopped |
| 2/3 | cup | bulgur | uncooked |
| 1 1/3 | cups | water | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | paprika | |
| 1 | tablespoon | parsley flakes | dried |
| 1/16 | teaspoons | thyme | dried |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | oregano | dried |
Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add onions and bulgur.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 15 minutes, until water has been absorbed.
Fluff with a fork before serving.
