| 1 | can | red kidney beans | drained* |
| 3 | tablespoons | tomato paste | |
| 2 | tablespoons | vegetable oil | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | black pepper | |
| 1 | clove |
garlic |

| 1/2 | cup | dr. pepper | * |
| 4 | ounces | green chili peppers | can, drained |
| 1 | teaspoon | worcestershire sauce | |
| 1 | cup | cheddar cheese, very old, sharp | shredded |
| 1 | x | bacon | crisp cooked* |
Combine all ingredients except the last 2 in saucepan; heat to boiling.
Pour into blender or electric mixer; add cheese.
Blend on high speed until well mixed. Pour into warmer dish; cover with bacon.
Serve with chips, crackers.
