Ingredients

2 cups apples chopped cooking
1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
1/2 cup sugar granulated
1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
1 each egg yolk beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
1/2 cup pecans chopped
1 each egg white beaten until foamy
1 each pie shell (9 inch) 9 inch, unbaked

Directions

Put chopped apples in a large bowl.

Add sugar, flour, egg yolk, vanilla, lemon juice and pecans; mix well.

Add egg white. Stir well and pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes
