Recipes with salt

This is a Finnish soup.

I used Cornish Game Hens, but you could also use a cut up chicken. If you can't get winter melon, watermelon will work. Winter melon is white, very mild tasting and a tad denser than watermelon. I think you could get away using something like Honeydew too.

Really enjoyed the dish, it was packed with flavors. I did add some fresh cilantro in the end, and it was delicious. I also made a cucumber rita (yogurt sauce) to balance the heat a bit.

A delicious salad that's perfect to serve if your bored of the same old leaf lettuce kind.
