Substituting milks

I have a recipe that is very rich and sweet. It calls for 13 oz of evaporated milk I have 10oz on hand and I was wondering if it would hurt any thing to use 3oz of condensed milk as a substituted?

I don't think this would be a problem. You might consider reducing the amount of sugar in the original recipe as condensed milk has a significant amount of sugar added.
