What does the X in this recipe mean? How can I use this recipe if I don't understand it?

Thanks

sean

x generally means as needed. The first line of the recipe states "Using a blender, process equal amounts of all ingredients until finely ground." Use equal amounts of all ingredients according to how much fresh 5 spice powder you wish to make.
