Our dinner yesterday, very cheesy and tasty. Loved the idea of using shredded potato as the crust, and the cauliflower-onion mixture was absolutely delicious. I browned the onions, which made the filling more flavorful; I also added a few dashes of red hot pepper sauce into the crust mixture to give a bit zing. Definitely a keeper and will be making it again!
First time to make my own pita bread, and I was shocked by how they beautifully puffed. Then I realized it was not hard at all to make your own. Whole wheat flour gave extra tangy flavor, definitely well worth the efforts and will make my own pita bread from now on :)
This banana bread is made with applesauce and blueberries, it's super moist and flavorful with only 1 tablespoon of oil added. Enjoy this delicious applesauce blueberry banana bread without any guilt.
After trying numerous green bean casseroles I was not a fan. This casserole changed my mind. Tender-crisp green beans that were actually green. Just the right amount of creamy coating loaded with mushroom flavor. And no canned tasteless fried onions. Delish!
This easy to make quiche is packed with flavor. Feel free to use low-fat ricotta cheese if you want a lighter result, or use some phyllo sheets to replace the pie crust to make a low-carb quiche.
This is probably the best scalloped potatoes I've had. We made our own cream of mushroom soup with dried wild mushrooms (see recipe link below). Tons of rich mushroom flavor that was embedded in the potatoes along with a nice cheesy flavor throughout. We used a nice old cheddar. The paprika was a nice touch and it ended up giving the potatoes a very rich color (see photos).
Why Chinese stir-fry is popular, not only it's quick and easy to make, but also packed with delicious flavor. The Chinese ingredients in this recipe should be easily found in almost all the grocery stores. Serve it over a bed of rice to make a tasty meal.
Very warm and filling. Lots of mushroom flavor and the barley was tender and plump. I used a bit of olive oil to sauté the veggies along with a healthy dose of garlic. Easy to make with easy to find ingredients, perfect for a cool fall or winter day.
The flavor was amazing, the aroma during the cooking filled up our entire house. We used chicken broth instead of beef broth and water, and it made a very tasty base for the soup. A few slices of good bread was all we served with this soup. YUM!
This is one of the best butternut squash casserole I have ever made. There were lots of flavors and textures going on. We made half of the recipe, I added some buttermilk powder into milk to make the buttermilk and used the dried thyme, otherwise followed the recipe exactly. It came out cheesy, sweet and tasty, but not too feeling heavy or rich afterwords, definitely a keeper!
This low fat banana bread turns out very moist with huge banana flavor. Studded with chocolate chips and walnuts makes it a special favorite.
This was outstanding. A huge amount of flavor was developed in the slow and low technique using my slow cooker. A classic mostly hands-free make ahead main dish that filled the house with aroma.
