Excellent bread. Nice, light texture and good crust. I will add more caraway next time, though, as we really like that flavor. I doubled the recipe to make a large loaf, and it worked fine. I usually just use my machine for the kneading process and than finish the loaf by hand, but let the machine do the whole thing this time, since I was busy all day. Made the house smell great, and was perfect with a steaming bowl of split pea soup! Thanks for this keeper.
An interesting way to make bread, and it actually makes great flavor and texture bread.
The English muffin flavor of the bread was spot on and the texture wasn't too bad as it still had some nooks and crannies. Amazing, considering it was such a flat loaf. I will most definitely be making another attempt at this, but only when I'm completely alone in my kitchen. I'm sure my next try will be totally successful. Thank you, for this wonderful recipe.
A delicious bread is made with jalapeno, mozzarella cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, cumin and chives. It's soft in the inside and nicely browned on the outside. It's packed with delicious flavors, it's tasty enough to eat it directly, or make a savory and tasty bread pudding with it.
