It was definitely my kind of dessert, it's sweet, but too sweet; vanilla sauce gave some richness, but wasn't overwhelming. The peach-maple filling was so delicious, packed with fresh peach flavor, of course :D and the juicy filling was just oozing out loudly.

Grandma also waits until the dough is ready to slice the apples, that way they don't turn brown.
She also uses the slicer on the side of a grater to slice the apples really thin.
First this TVP chilli was absolutely tasty. I used fresh garlic instead of garlic powder, I didn't have green bell pepper, so I used more celery, and I added a little bit cumin, delicious. Spooned them over a toasted sandwich bun, hmm, yum. Definitely a keeper.
