Classic stuffed peppers with a Mexican twist. Chicken, cheese and mushrooms makes this a great change with a bit of spicy flare.
Stuffed chicken breast with spinach and cheese. Just one of our best baked chicken breast recipes. Stuffing is easy with the butterfly technique used in the recipe.
A classic old fashioned great American hash inspired by Julia Child's The Way to Cook. This is a great way to use leftover pork roast and the accompanying leftover vegetables. The key is to create a lovely tasty crust.
An easy and delicious crustless spinach quiche made with Bisquick, seasoned fluffy eggs, onions, cheese, and an impossible crust that makes itself! The quiche is great for a quick Sunday brunch, breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
From the Castle Restaurant (Olean, NY) (now out of business). A copycat simplified home cook version that's easy to make.
An easy tasty main. Chicken breasts baked in a creamy poblano sauce topped with melted Monterrey jack cheese.
This is my rendition of a recipe from an old Campbell's Soup cook book.
Instead of using beef or chicken, try these succulent fish tacos that will have you licking your lips! Great recreation of the incredible Rubio's Fish Taco. Most people get this wrong, but not this one. The CORN tortilla is vital to the flavor. Get them as fresh and thick as possible.
This scrumptious pie is made with bisquik and a taco seasoning mix which gives it a true Mexican taste.
A quick and easy one-skillet Text style beef dinner with ideas for variations. Easy to vary according to your family's tastes.
I love Creme Brulee but with the high fat have been working on a no-guilt low fat version of this French delight. It had to be creamy with the subtle flavors I remember from when I was in Cannes France. Last weekend my father came to visit and here it is, low-fat no guilt Creme Brulee using Canadian maple syrup and a Madagascar vanilla bean. Guaranteed to knock the socks of any guest and you can feel the guilty feeling they have once they taste it. Then they're so relived when you tell them the ingredients. Truly no guilt.
A copycat of the zesty dipping sauce that Outback restaurants serve with their blooming onion dish. Great as a dipping sauce for chicken fingers, fries, onion rings, tater tots, etc.
It's a warm and flavorful soup. Avocado, cheeses, tortilla chips, cilantro, and tomatoes simmering together develops tons of yumminess. A cozy soup that warms you up and satisfies your taste buds.
Originating from the Castle Restaurant, Olean, NY, this house salad dressing was particularly famous. The restaurant closed in the mid-1980's. The recipe was created by Chef Anthony Quirino Lentola in the 1950's.
This is based on a delicious Paula Deen chicken recipe. It makes a great appetizer and only uses 5 simple ingredients. I found the original recipe way too sweet so have modified it to be a bit less sweet and have added a spicy kick to balance out the sweetness.
Somewhat similar to chili mac and American goulash found in other areas of the country, this American dish is most prevalent in New England.
Make-ahead breakfast casserole that's perfect for Sunday brunch or breakfast. Most breakfast casseroles are huge amounts, this one has been scaled to make just two hearty servings so you can enjoy it anytime.
A delicious colorful Cajun pasta main with chicken and shrimp.
Simply Incredible!!! I have never had a quiche recipe work for me. They always end up a soupy mess and leave me frustrated and dejected. This one turned out so wonderfully and gorgeous - pretty enough for company. It tasted fantastic. I used a quiche pan instead of a 9" pie pan(as I said I never had one turn out, but it doesn't stop me from trying) ;-) If you like chorizo and want to try a quiche recipe that is totally fool proof - THIS IS THE ONE!!! Yummy!!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
This is a fantastic rich chicken enchilada recipe featuring chicken, cheese and baked in a cream sauce.
