Ingredients

4 slices bacon
crisp, save fat
680.4 g okra
sliced thin
1 each onions
chopped
5 ml vinegar
0.5 each sweet red bell peppers
cut in strips
2 each celery stalks
sliced thin
289 ml/g rotel chiles and tomatoes

5 ml sugar
1 x salt
*
1 x black pepper
*
7.5 ml chili powder

Directions

Mash rotel Tomatoes and Green chilies with potato masher and set aside.

Fry bacon crisp, remove and add to drippings, okra, onion, vinegar, bell pepper, and celery.

Cook until tender, then add remaining ingredients.

Simmer, stirring often, may need to add water when simmering.

Leftovers may be frozen.
