Impossible Asparagus and Ham Pie

An easy asparagus and ham main dish. Asparagus, ham and swiss cheese baked with Bisquick into a fluffy and flavourful dinner.

177 ml biscuit baking mix (bisquick)

1.3 ml salt

0.6 ml black pepper

Directions

Heat oven to 400.

Grease pie plate, 10 x 1 1/2".

Sprinkle ham, 1 cup of cheese, asparagus and onions in plate.

Beat milk, eggs, baking mix, salt and pepper until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater.

Pour into plate.

Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes; sprinkle with ½ cup cheese.

Cool 5 min.

May substitute 1 package frozen asparagus, thawed and well drained for the fresh asparagus.

FOR 3 to 4 SERVINGS: Prepare as directed except-grease pie plate, 8 x 1¼ inch Divide amounts of all ingredients except baking mix and eggs into halves.

Use ½ cup baking mix and 2 eggs. Bake 35 to 40 min.

Can you use a pillsbury crescent roll instead of using bisquick
