Herb, Garlic and Parmesan Croutons

Making croutons is a great way to use up your day-old bread, and croutons are an excellent accompaniment with salad, especially for casar salad. This quick, easy, flavorful and crunchy croutons take you no time to have some delicious crunch.

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350℉ (180℃) degrees.

Trim off the edges of bread.

Cut into ½ to 1-inch slices, then cut into ½ to 1-inch cubes.

Add bread cubes into a medium bowl,

Mix together olive oil, dried basil, oregano, celery salt and garlic in a small bowl until well combined.

Drizzle the oil-herb mixture over the cubes.

Sprinkle parmesan on top, and gently toss until well combined.

Spread the well seasoned bread cubes evenly onto a baking sheet in a single layer.

Bake until golden, brown and crunch, 15 to 20 minutes. Stir once or twice during the baking.

Remove from the oven and let cool.

Ready to use or store in an air-tight container for later use.

Note: Use in Ccaesar salad, potato dumplings, spoon on top of soups or use as a topping for vegetables and casseroles.
