Ingredients

3 each cucumbers
6 x salt

boiling water

2 x sugar
*
½ accent
*
6 x garlic
sliced
*
¼ vinegar
*
ice water
*
2 each red pepper flakes
*

Directions

Cut the cucmbers in half lengthwise, then slice diagonally into ½ inch thick slices and place in a large bowl.

Mix salt with boiling water and pour over the cucumbers and let stand 1 hour, then drain.

Mix the remaining ingredients a nd pour over the cucumbers and refrigerate.
