These dessert bars are excellent. Made them for a recent pot-luck, and everyone couldn't stop munching on them. Totally delicious and addictive!

Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃) F (175 degrees C).

Coat a 9x13 inch baking pan or brownie pan with cooking spray, or greased with butter.

Add the oats, flour, brown sugar, salt and baking soda in a large mixing bowl, and stir until well mixed.

Use your fingers to mix in the butter until forms a crumbly mixture.

Reserve 1½ cups of the crumbs, and evenly pat the rest into the bottom of the prepared brownie pan or baking pan.

In a medium bowl, add the sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter, and whisk until well blended and smooth.

Spread evenly over the oatmeal layer.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the peanut butter and condensed milk layer.

Top with reserved crumbles evenly.

Bake for about 35 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.

Cut into 24 bars and serve.
