Ingredients

2.8 l green tomatoes
chopped
3.8 l apples
unpeeled, cored

946 ml golden raisins
chopped, sultanas
473 ml currants
237 ml vinegar
30 ml lemon zest
30 ml orange zest
1.4 l sugar
30 ml cinnamon
10 ml nutmeg
15 ml salt
2 pinch cloves

120 ml margarine

Directions

  1. Chop in processor apples and tomatoes.

  2. Add remaining fruit and process.

  3. Blend everything in a large pot.

  4. Cook slowly for 1½ to 2 hours.

  5. Bottle and process in hot water bath.
