Hi Everybody i´m happy to been here in this great community, i´m from Colombia and i´ve got for you today a great Drink Recipe made in my country for this coming St Valentine Day This Drink is Called "Sabajon" And here you got the Recipe, i hope you can make it and enjoy it as i made here in my hometown

15 ml vanilla extract

75 ml cornstarch

4 large egg yolks

2.5 ml nutmeg

Directions

Bring the milk to a boil in a large saucepan.

Mix the cornstarch and sugar in a small saucepan with enough cold water to make a paste over low heat. Slowly add 2 cups of hot milk while stirring to thin the mixture. Slowly add this to the rest of the milk while whisking to avoid lumps.

Bring to the boil reduce heat and simmer while whisking for two minutes.

Remove from heat.

Temper the egg yolks by adding about ¼ cup of hot milk to the beaten egg yolks while stirring, then add another ¼ cup of hot milk mixing well.

Mix the egg yolks with the pot of thickened milk. Let cool.

Once cooled pass through a fine sieve to remove any lumps.

Mix with rum, vanilla and nutmeg and bottle.

Keep refrigerated.

Drink Cold.
