Miss Allie's chicken and rice casserole is an old-fashioned one-pot bake where chicken slow-cooks over onions, mushrooms, and butter, then rice steams in the rendered pan juices. Pure Sunday-supper comfort.
Ground venison casserole layered shepherd's-pie style with green beans, creamy mashed potatoes, and melty cheese on top. A hearty one-dish dinner that puts lean game meat to good use.
After dividing the dough in half, I cut each piece into six wedges, making 12 scones in total.
Enjoy this deliciously moist rhubarb cake without feeling guilty at all, and the best of all is that this cake is packed with goodness!
It's heavenly delicious, that's all I can say! Buttery, creamy, silky, and oh, my... It had everything that I was craving :) Thanks for sharing such a great recipe!
I like this sour flavor. The best over buckwheat, but all is fine when over rice, potatoes, noodles, or just with lettuce mix. You may use pickled grilled red pepper.
Making your own kimchi at home is totally easy, and the best of all is that you can adjust the seasonings to your own taste. Serve it with any your favorite Korean or other dishes.
Not sure who names this cake, but all I can say this cake tastes absolutely delicious. It's moist, fluffy, and soft. The cream on top adds extra creaminess and richness, it's a decadent dessert that everyone will ask for second piece.
The silken tofu makes the pie taste silkily smooth, and it's loaded with chocolate. The best of all is that this dairy-free pie tastes so creamy, rich, and you can not tell that there is tofu in it.
You can't believe how delicious and moist this cake comes out, and best of all is that the cake is made with mostly whole wheat flour, applesauce and yogurt, then glazed with a thin layer of lemony icing. Looks so appealing and tastes even better!
Definitely a five star recipe. I used salami instead of ham, because that was all I had at the moment, and it came out delicious. If you are a big fan of Chinese food and would't mind cooking in your own kitchen, you should give it a go. By the way, chow fan (fun) is how Chinese say fried rice. Happy Cooking :)
Bibimbap is my all-time loved Korean food, there are so many great flavors and textures in it, and the best of all is that I can add whatever veggies I like, adjust the seasonings to my own taste, and it always comes out delicious. This quick and easy version is the one I make when I am too lazy to prepare every single veggie.
This yummy, quick and easy treat is perfect for summer days or even when stuck inside during the cold months. This was something I used to make for family parties all the time. Before going Gluten free, I would just buy the premade graham cracker crust so there was no baking and it literally took 5 minutes to throw together. All I had to do was make a few hours ahead for it to set and be done. But I must admit, this new adaption, using Almond four taste even better!
This is one of my absolute favorite things to make at this time of year. It takes almost no time to prepare, so I’ll whip up a big batch on my day off and then all I have to do when I get home is put it in a bowl or mash it up and put it on toasted bread drizzled with some olive oil. It also makes a great appetizer along with some homemade or store-bought pita chips. Honestly, when serving this as a dip or a spread, I don’t even bother taking out my food processor, I just use the bottom of a glass and mash it a bit.
