| 1 | pound | beans | great northern, soaked |
| 2 | teaspoons | salt | |
| 1 | each | onion | chopped |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | black pepper | ground |
| 2 | pounds | beef | short ribs |
| 6 | cups | water | |
| 3/4 | cups | barbeque sauce |
Place all ingredients in crockpot except barbecue sauce. Cover and cook on Low 10 to 16 hours. Before serving, remove short ribs and cut meat from bones. Return meat to crockpot. Stir in barbecue sauce before serving.

I made these chocolate chip waffles this morning, they turned out golden brown and crispy, and they were delicious, I just read Helen's common. I totally agree with her, not only kids love them, I think everyone will love these waffles. Good recipe.
