Ingredients

7 ounces turkey ground
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 cup italian plum (roma) tomatoes canned, drained and chopped
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1 each bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes crushed

Directions

Spray 3-quart saucepan with nonstick spray and heat over medium-high heat; add turkey and onion, using wooden spoon to brown ingredients.

Add remaining ingredients and stir well to combine.

Reduce heat to low and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until chili is thick, about 25 to 30 minutes.

Remove bay leaf before serving.

May be frozen for future use--just thaw and reheat.
