I started an old Haitian recepe i knew for this hot relish and co9uld not remember the rest so i used this recepe to complete it and it is perfect the vinegar can be replaced with lime juice or red wine vinegar great recepe though

Ingredients

3 each jalapeno peppers red, coarsely chopped
3 each jalapeno peppers green, coarsely chopped
1/2 teaspoon oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 each yellow onion finely chopped
2 each garlic cloves finely chopped
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Combine the chiles in a bowl with oregano, salt, onion and garlic.

Heat the vinegar just until bubbles appear around the edge.

Pour over the chile mixture, then stir in the olive oil.

Let cool to room temperature.
