| 4 | ounces | chocolate unsweetened | baking chocolate, unsweetened, broken into pieces |
| 1/4 | cup | butter | or margarine |
| 1 2/3 | cup | water | boiling |
| 2 1/3 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 2 | cups | sugar | |
| 1/2 | cup | sour cream | |
| 2 | large | eggs | |
| 2 | teaspoons | baking soda | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract |
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13x9x2 inch baking pan. In large mixer bowl, combine chocolate, butter and water; with spoon, stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Add flour, sugar, sour cream, eggs, baking soda, salt and vanilla; beat on low speed of electric mixer until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.

This is delicious and moist. It is not like regular cornbread so don't expect that taste. I used regular milk instead of soy and sour cream instead of applesauce, since I was out of those two ingredients. It still turned out beautifully and I will upload a picture of it.
