| 1 | each | green bell pepper | sliced |
| 28 | ounces | tomatoes | italian style, drained and cut up |
| 1 | pound | italian sausage | cut in 2 inch chunks |
| 2 | each | garlic cloves | minced |
| 1 | x | chicken | 3 pounds, cut up |
| 1 | tablespoon | olive oil | |
| 1 | x | salt | |
| 1 | x | black pepper | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | black pepper |
Put pepper, tomatoes, and sausage chunks in a baking pan and sprinkle with garlic.
Arrange chicken on top. Brush chicken with olive oil.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake, uncovered, 1 hour and 15 minutes, until tender, basting frequently.
