| 1 | cup | miniature marshmallows | |
| 1/2 | cup | chocolate (semi-sweet) | semi-sweet chips |
| 2 | tablespoons | margarine | or butter |
| 1 | cup | pecan halves | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | vanilla extract |
Place marshmallows, chocolate chips and margarine in small bowl. Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every minute, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth.
2. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Drop mixture, with 3 pecan halves per cluster, onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate uncovered about 30 minutes or until firm.

This pie is easy to make - the ginger seems to make it special without being overpowering and it's a nice change from apple! I've used different varieties of pears and all work well. Be careful the edges of the pie crust doesn't burn!
