Ingredients

3 cups chicken diced and boiled
3 tablespoons lemon juice fresh
1 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 1/2 cups grapes, seedless
1 cup pineapple, canned tidbits, drained
1/2 cup almonds slivered, toasted
1/4 cup water chestnuts diced

Directions

Toss chicken with lemon juice in large bowl.

Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.

Combine next 4 ingredients in small bowl.

Add remaining ingredients to chicken and toss lightly.

Blend in mayonnaise mixture.

Chicken a la King

egg works fine if you temper it and don't overheat the sauce. the yolk adds a nice silky feel to the sauce.
