Sometimes you just need Chicken Alfredo on the table fast, and this shortcut version delivers without apology.

Chicken tenders get stir-fried until golden, then simmered in jarred Alfredo sauce thinned with milk for a creamy, pourable consistency.

Green peas add color and a pop of sweetness, bacon bits bring a smoky crunch, and crispy French-fried onions piled on top seal the deal with a salty, crunchy finish.

Pour it all over hot pasta and dinner is done.

Kitchen Tips

  • Use chicken tenders for the quickest cook time. They brown fast and stay juicy without any pounding or slicing.
  • Thin the Alfredo sauce with milk to your preferred consistency. Straight from the jar it can be too thick to coat pasta evenly.
  • Save half the French-fried onions for the topping so they stay crispy. Stirring them all into the sauce makes them soggy.
