1 Quiche
suggest servings
| 1/4 | pound | swiss cheese | or cheddar |
| 1 | pint | asparagus | |
| 1 | x | dill weed | |
| 1 | x | tarragon | |
| 3 | large | eggs | |
| 1 | x | paprika | |
| 1 | x | paprika | |
| Basic Pie Crust | |||
| 1/4 | cup | butter | cold, cut into pieces |
| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | dash | salt | |
| 3 | tablespoons | water | milk or buttermilk |
Grate or cube cheese and place on bottom of unbaked pie crust.
Place chopped and steamed asparagus over cheese layer.
Sprinkle with a little dill weed and tarragon.
Beat together 3 eggs (4 eggs if using quiche pan), milk and pour over top.
Dust with paprika.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
Variations:
Sour cream or buttermilk instead of milk.
Crust: Makes single crust. Cut ingredients together. Roll and shape to fit pan.Use with asparagus quiche recipe.

i tried this and it was very good but bland i did it again last night but added a little rosemary also in the inside and used a whole sprig in the sauce and took it out when it was done it was great this recipe is good but needs a little spice to it
